Learning in Practice | Week 15

This week made me realise that work life is not just about tasks, deadlines, or output it’s also about the rhythm you build around it.

A typical week now includes traveling every day, working through tasks, and slowly finding a routine that works for me. At first, it felt like a big shift, but now it’s starting to feel more natural.

What makes it better is the environment at work. It’s not just about getting things done it’s also about enjoying the space you’re in. From small moments like decorating my desk with Kinder Joy toys to lunch break walks and quick ice cream outings, these little things add so much to the day.

Outside of work, the week doesn’t really slow down. Catching up with friends after office has become something I look forward to. What’s interesting is how all of us are now working in different places, with different roles and work cultures. Talking about our experiences helps me understand the industry from multiple perspectives how every workspace functions differently, yet connects through design in its own way.

There are also those moments that break routine — dinner dates with my École friends, weekend concerts, and spending time with family. These experiences bring balance and help me reset for the week ahead.

This week reminded me that adapting to professional life is not just about learning how to work it’s about learning how to balance everything around it. The work, the people, the travel, and the moments in between all come together to shape the experience.

This Week’s Key Takeaway

Work-life balance is built through small everyday moments. It’s not just about managing work, but also about making space for experiences that keep you energised and inspired.
