Learning in Practice | Week 14

This week felt lighter, more fun, and honestly a little chaotic in the best way. It reminded me that alongside work, it’s the small moments and unexpected experiences that stay with you the most. Between work, I also got to spend time with my teammates from stepping out for burgers to enjoying misal pav together and those little breaks made the week feel even more lively.

One thing I’ve really started appreciating is the people I work with. Having supportive (and fun) seniors makes everyday work life so much better. It creates an environment where learning doesn’t feel stressful. Even small things like decorating my desk with all the Kinder Joy toys I’ve been collecting make the workspace feel more like mine.

On Saturday, I ended up attending Zayn Malik’s album listening party. It wasn’t planned at all we even reached late but it turned out to be such a fun and unexpected experience. The music, the vibe, and the whole setup made it feel special.

After that, we went to Good Flippin' Burgers, expecting a normal, chill evening… but clearly, that was not the plan.

While we were sitting there, an auto rickshaw's CNG pipe suddenly burst and gas started leaking. For a few seconds, everything felt confusing and then we just ran. No thinking, just ran.

It was honestly such a weird experience.. hands shaking, heart racing, everything feeling confusing and fast. Thankfully, the situation got under control quickly and nothing serious happened. But in that moment, it really hit how unpredictable things can be.

Later, we sat in the train, finally eating the food we had ordered (after all that chaos), just feeling relieved and grateful that everything was okay. We even ended up laughing about it.

This week had everything fun, chaos, fear, relief all in one. And it reminded me that life isn’t always structured or predictable.

Sometimes, it’s just about being present, living the moment, and being thankful that things turn out okay.

This Week’s Key Takeaway

Not every week needs to be productive in the traditional sense. Sometimes, the most memorable ones are the ones that are a little messy, unexpected, and full of life.
